Gas stove burns badly

Buying a gas stove, many consumers hope for its long and uninterrupted operation. This household appliance operates in extreme conditions, its working bodies are constantly influenced by thermal loads. Over time, this effect will lead to the bottom of various malfunctions, in particular, burners will begin to burn hard, hiss, make a crackle.

Why the burner of the gas stove does not burn well

One of the most widespread problems arising in a gas stove is rightfully considered to be interruptions in the operation of the burner. This is expressed in a change in the color of the flame, an increase in the size of the flame exiting the burner, or, on the contrary, its sharp decrease. The problems with the burner can also be attributed to a flame separation. In addition, under certain circumstances, a working device starts to make sounds, which should not be. A gas stove generally works almost silently.

As a rule, any problems are caused by a number of reasons, among which are characteristic for most models of gas stoves of domestic and foreign production. Among them, we distinguish the following:

  1. The design of the device is broken.
  2. Damaged gas hose.
  3. Shortage of air-gas mixture.
  4. Low gas pressure.
  5. Incorrect burner selection.

What if the burner burns badly and makes sounds

All models of gas stoves are equipped with hobs. In fact, this is the main working body necessary for cooking.

The burner body represents the end of the gas valve and takes part in the mixing and preparation of the gas fuel necessary for normal operation. This unit is most susceptible to thermal effects from burning fuel. Sooner or later, the parts that make up the burner undergo deformation, the lid's tightness to the burner body is lost and the result is a violation of the combustion mode, that is, air begins to flow through the cracks. This leads to flame failure.. In the process of combustion, soot begins to be produced, and the ring of fire around the burner can change its color to red. A consequence of the deformation also becomes the generation of sounds, which should not be by definition.

We must not forget that over time there is a decrease in holes (nozzle). This comes from the formation of soot due to the ingress of particles of food, fat, detergents. If a contaminated burner can be flushed, then a deformed burner must be replaced immediately.

IF THE SPEECH IS GOING TO BE REPLACED, IT IS BETTER THAN ALL TO REPLACE ALL HOBS.

What to do when the gas stove burns poorly

As noted above, if the burners are intermittent, it is necessary to understand why this is happening and, based on this, make a decision either on flushing or on replacing the burner.

Is it possible to fix the breakdown yourself

In fact, any difficulties are best addressed to specialists. But still, some operations can be performed independently. For example, flush the burner from accumulated dirt, which has a negative effect on the combustion process of gaseous fuels.

How to rinse the burner? The flushing operation is as follows:

  1. Remove the grate from the surface of the stove that covers the defective burner.
  2. Remove the divider (cover) from the burner surface and pull out the burner itself.
  3. In order to get to the nozzle, you may need to unscrew a few screws. However, it depends on the model of the plate.
  4. Surely a certain amount of garbage has accumulated under the burner, which must be removed.
  5. Flushing the burner and parts included in its composition. To do this, you need to cook washing solution. It includes 10 parts of any dishwashing detergent and 1 part of water. The components of the burner make sense, hold for some time in this composition. The duration of soaking is determined by the degree of contamination. For thorough processing of the divider, it is advisable to use a toothbrush and toothpicks. After all parts have been washed, they must be thoroughly dried.
  6. The nozzle also needs to be washed; you can use a toothpick to clean the hole.
  7. After all the parts have been dried, you can reassemble and refit the nozzle and burner.

IMPORTANT!

DO NOT USE SEWING NEEDLES FOR CLEANING HOUSES IN THE INJECTOR. THEY ARE SUCCESSFULLY BROKEN AND MAY BE SIMPLY JAMMED IN THE NOZZLE. GET IT FROM HERE WILL BE PROBLEMATICALLY.

If an electric ignition is installed on the stove, it can also cause unstable operation of the burner.

If, after cleaning, the flame still does not burn stably or does not work at all, then the cause may be electric ignition. This can be found out quite simply. To do this, turn off the light in the kitchen, and in the dark press the ignition button. If the spark has a yellow or orange color, then most likely, the entire unit will need to be replaced. This device is not repairable.

Actions to Prevent This Breakdown

In order to avoid malfunctions with the burner, it must be periodically inspected and cleaned. In general, the gas stove must be kept clean and tidy. Inaccurate use of it can lead to a number of unpleasant consequences.
